Endometrial Suction Curette
Endometrial and uterine biopsy are generally performed on those suspected to have cancer in order to accurately diagnose the condition. Using an endometrial suction curette enables physicians to extract the required sample tissue for pathology tests by applying suction and gently scraping the endometrium, while causing minimal trauma and discomfort. Since this method costs less, is an outpatient procedure, and anesthesia is not required for it, in recent years, it has to a great extent replaced the traditional Dilation and Curettage method (D&C), which is performed in an operation room.
